- Less than a quarter! Just means that there are significant events that need to be noted down.
- 1st big one was on 28Apr - L'Arc-en-Ciel World Tour Concert in Singapore!!! My first live encounter with this J-rock legendary band!! omg, they are really GREAT!! Totally enjoyed myself jumping non-stop to even the new songs that I was not familiar to. Been some time since I really broke out into sweat after watching a 2hr concert.
- With Mother's Day round the corner, I shook off the lazy bug first on a Sun morn to have breakfast with grandma, mum n sis at JP Ding Tai Feng, and secondly on the next Sat after gym to follow dad n mum out to Labrador Park. I thought it was just a stroll...end up 'strolling' all the way from Labrador to Harbour Front = 2 mrt stops away...n its straight after my combat. But the sunset was really beautiful *i'm a sunset-freak*
- My co's vp, Murai san, will be transferred to our Shanghai office wef 1 July. A very soft-spoken and kind fatherly man. Together with our R&R team, I organized a dinner at Lau Pa Sat after work. Including Murai san n me, there's a total of 12pax. Really happy that everyone took time off their busy personal schedule for this dinner and that everyone enjoyed the meal very much. Other than Murai san, there's 2 farewells in May too. Turnover rate has been really high...almost a farewell every month or more than once every month. Hoping that my turn will come soon...but I have a Thailand business trip coming up this month end. *sighz*
- And the highlight for this post would be the annual family trip to Kukup. During the past 1-2 trips, the experience wasn't as good as when we first started and there were some unhappiness among some families due to miscommunication or misunderstanding. This year's one was sooooo much better. Prob coz its solely organized and taken care of by my dad (a competent leader makes a difference!). He managed to pool together the largest crowd we ever have since grandpa passed away. A total of 29pax with at least 1 from each family! Even though there were repeated black-outs, everyone continued eating and talking like nothing happened. Plus, we would not have experienced a whole night sky of stars and even see shooting star when the lights went out! Lying out on the decks with the occassional sea breeze, surrounded by cousins n relatives all discussing about different things at the same time...the wonder of nature, the power of family bonding. Oh, n the sunset was as breathtaking too! *i'm a sunset-freak*

- Trying to keep up with the quarterly update pace...
- Jan flew pass with my 1wk holiday to Kyushu + the long CNY wkend. XS was back in Sgp n there was another gathering b4 he fly back to Brazil.
- In early Feb, I had my first business trip to our Japan office in Shizuoka pref. Back in office, it was farewell preparation for sharkie who left us to venture into the open sea. Sad as we may be, we felt happy for her too. End Mar was a second business trip to Shizuoka.
- So Q112 was filled with trips n trips to Japan. The very happening thing was titled 'Aki's Wrath' by Matt.
- Started in late Feb when boss initiated a dinner gathering with the title 'to celebrate Aki n Shunda 1yr anniv'. Unwilling to join at first as the participants namelist has ppl dat I dun get along with...but I decided to be pro n give face to boss. Suggested the venue and the date was fixed on 1Mar. We were told to order whatever we want...5days later on a Tues morning in office, the first email that I opened had a paragraph of thanks to everyone for their time blah*3, n the ultimate shock comes from the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph - 'I don't want to, but I have to' and it follows with a list of the participants and the respective $$ to be returned to him...Was it just my wishful thinking that we are the main lead for the night?! Was it just my misconception that boss will not let staff pay...esp when its a miserable $30? In any case, this 1 incident was able to make me forget about the bdae treat, yr end treat n lunch treat in Japan. It was already a torture to work with a caveman and now this. No doubt I am losing my respect. Money is the root of all evil!! LOL
- I actually went for an interview sometime in Mar. Too bad the package they offered was not what I expected and so I rejected it. I still cannot say if this is a good or bad move. But the moment something good comes by, I will want to grab. I'm a modern city girl! How can I work in stone age with a caveman?! If bro were to see me now, he would have grade my stupidity at minus thousand!!!

- Its really quarterly updates in Yr2011!! Shall try to maintain n not delay it to half-yearly updates. hee =0)

=) The picture says it all! Went to 2PM concert in Singapore on 19Nov and got a 1st row seat just facing the extension stage n yupz...this my #1 fav guy - Junho! Concerts in Japan ban photography n videography...but Singapore one didn't bother. But its really hard to concentrate on the show, scream, n take photos/vids at the same time. But this is one of the best shot n boy am I grinning like mad whenever I look at this pic. heehee...crazy fan girl (definitely not behaving my age...oops...anyway its my lappy wallpaper now!! kya~)
Ok, I have to admit I like this group a lot coz they have nice songs n nice dance n good looks with hot bodies. Started about a yr ago when I started watching WGM with Nichkhun in it. Luv Khuntoria couple alot! From there I got to know 2PM, n then there's Dream High drama with Taec n Wooyoung. Luv WooU couple! So Wooyoung became one of my fav...but as I started watching their performances, someone else caught my eye (n ear) with his smiling eyes, charming smile, "nice butt?!" n most of all, his vocals n dance!
Guess most of the time it starts out like that...I liked Koichi after watching Ienakiko2, n from there KinKi Kids came into my life. I liked Nino after watching Ao no Honno, n from there its Arashi but I realise I prefer Ohno coz of his vocals n dance n art talent, n finally to realise that my ideal guy type is Sho! bwahaha~

- Straight after the summer vacation to Japan, I was being asked to go Shanghai for a 10days business trip from 31Aug-10Sep. My first business trip since entering this co. Was glad to be able to meet the global project team and to learn from them. Oh well, there are lots of side stories from the trip, both good and bad. Only conclusion is I have a very unpopular boss...Oh, I was asked by a Starbucks waitress if I'm a Korean?! But I ordered in Mandarin, making me wonder if there is something wrong with my Mandarin...*duh*
- A month later, my new found fish fren asked if I want to go Hong Kong with her. Being sick of work plus some happenings at home, I agreed. Our trip was from 18-22Oct. Its a wonder that we knew each other for only 8 months and off we go for a holiday together. Didn't even manage to do it with pig gang. It was a very fun n tiring trip. A great getaway from work!
- 2 days after HK trip, I had to fly Shanghai again. Compared to the 1st trip in Sep, this was much more enjoyable as I get to work direct with the local team without the interference of RB. Everything is in my control!!
- I am actually very thankful for the trips and to the global team who appreciated my work without linking me to RB. But I also know that I cannot stay long in this co as it is not the right place. Imagine there are people who keep telling you that you are in the wrong dept n under a wrong boss. Which is very true...so I guess its time to start looking again soon amid such bad economy conditions. ~argh~
- In between these trips are Emi-ne, Wanting, n Meiyan's wedding!!! Plus pre-house warming for Kelly's new home.
- Hee, its Nov!! my Ultra Lovers are coming to town for concert!! got my tix n can't wait!! 3-4Dec is off to Kukup, and next would be 10-15Jan 2012 in Fukuoka!!!

- My new job has started for less than 6mths...wow, it felt like a year! Made new friends in the office and was thankful for their friendship.
- First half year went pass in a breeze. There's the usual Qing Ming, Mum n Sis's bdae. A family trip to Cameron n Genting Highlands. There was also a Botanic Garden outing which turns out to be very fun! And the annual Parents Day celebration which was held at Er Gu's place. On the company side, there were 2 events - both were farewell for the ex-president Mr Mueller - with one at ICON condo, n one at East Coast Mana Mana. One more impt thing to celebrate was the birth of Junie's baby girl - Katie - on the same day as Kaijun's bdae!! lol

- Yr2011 started really great even though I was not in the usual place *Tokyo*. Counted down and woke up to a splendid 1 Jan 2011 with my beloved CCs in san gu's house. A big Happy Birthday to dear Koichi! n a big Happy Birthday to Emi-ne! Had our first k session of 2011 on 3 Jan!
